Have you ever dreamt about a perfect wedding? That particular day when sun should never be shrouded in clouds, wind could only blow softly to fondle your skin… Green island of Corfu seems then to be the perfect place for you to get married. Olive groves rustling silently, sun that is never hidden by clouds. And high temperatures all year roud.
So if you decide to get married there, what with shopping cases? Do not worry, Corfu, as a promised land for tourists has many boutiques and other shops to choose from when doing shopping for your wedding. Ipsos, located about 15 milometres away from Kerkyra, the capital of the island, is now undeniably the most developed resort on the island. It offers neverending list of attractions for each and every tourist that comes there. There are innumerable boutiques, so every bride will find her beloved dress. And if there occured any diffculties Kerkyra located so close may come in handy. Ipsos may seem a rather noisy place during peak season, in summer. Therefore the best time for a wedding there is in March or April and then at the end of the year. I personally find early spring better, as Corfu only then begins to emit its natural beauty glow and is most beautiful when all the spring flowers begin to blossom.
Ipsos, wedding, corfu: those three words will sound like a dream come true for many brides-to-be. And there shall be nothing strange in it. This tiny Greek island captivates anybody who comes here with its natural beauty and wilderness of nature.

Many people each year choose Corfu, Greece, to be their holiday destination. The island is situated between the very end of Italian Peninsula and Albanian coast but it belongs to Greece < periphery Ionian Islands>. Warm waters of Ionian Sea drag here tourists from all around the world. The island’s relief is varied: northern part of Korfu is mountainous, the central undulating, and the southern low-lying. Green cypress groves as well as those consisting of oil trees are common there. Corfu’s coastline is a bit varied, with slopes of hills ending up in clear sea waters and sandy beaches ringing small but so beautiful that nearly captivating bay’s. One of them is St. George’s bay in the northern part of the island.

This Greek island is more often than not chosen by affluent businessmen or other wealthy people to buy apartments, which is due to the mild climate of the island and the vastness of possibilities of how to spend time. The City of Corfu is full of outstanding monuments. Island’s history begins in 734 BC when the colony was founded < the metropolis was Korint>. Most valuable remains are exhibited in Archeologial Museum in Corfu for example a collection of ancient coins. Worth seeing is also a British Cemetary with beautifully carved gravestones. Interesting place to visit is also a museum of shells where most incredible and valuable shells from the Ionian Sea can be seen. Some less special objects are available to purchase.
