Resorts in the south part of Corfu

One of the resorts that definately deserves to be described and recommended and has not been described yet is Petriti. It is a tiny village, the one that had not yet been changed into a hasty and noisy tourist resort where it is really nearly impossible to hear your own thoughts. Petriti managed to save its  Greek character, inimitable and so beckoning for those who seek peace, laziness and quietness of a country.

There is a thoroughfare, a harbour housing colourful boats that are the main tool for making money in the village as most of Petriti’s inhabitants make ends meet by fishing. Waters come and go in high-tides and low-tides. Waters sparkle in the daylight and glitter when sun sets or rises. Sand on the beach, that is south fromt he village,  is always impeccable and there are no loud night parties so that Petriti is a promised land for those who are fed up with constant parties. What is more, the village is a bit far away from any busy roads, which is why the air there is truly crystal clear, especially in the moring when the dew appears on each and every leaf and grass blade and refreshes the air dried by the constant sunshine.  holiday in corfu can really be recommended to everyone. As there are places for those for peace and those who seek ado and noise.
