Corfu Golf course

Corfu Golf course is deemed one of the best in Europe. Situated on the west coast, in close proximity to Agios Georgios, Paleocastritsa and Benitses it is easily accesible from any place of the island.

Because of the project, beacuse of the grass and sand, because of the landscape and mainly because of the holiday atmosphere it is wrapped in the course is thought to be decidedly the one that deserves a praise. Designed by a Swiss architect Donald Harradine it caters for the needs of every tourist interested in playing golf. The course is planned so that it fully uses the values of the lanscape: the Valley Ropa and the river Nafsika. Players find it fascinating to benefit from such a designed corse.

Treelined fairways, sandtraps and meandering streams combined with several lakes make the course not only demanding but also picturesque. What is more, even though during summer the weather in Corfu may be unbearable (scorching heat and dazzling sunshine may make the play bitterly unrewarding and simply tiring) the course can always count on refreshing gusts and breeze from over the Ionian Sea that enable players to bear the weather difficulties.

The golf course seems to be yet another reason for tourists from all around the world to come to Corfu. ( apart from Benistses picturesque bay and Agios Georgios climate)
