The island of Corfu is mainly famous for tourist resorts offering a whole range of various attractions for people coming here every year.

Long coastline of the tiny island is full of picturesque small villages hidden among the hills and ringing the bays of the Aegean Sea. One of them is Sidari situated in the north west part of the island.Today the once tiny village is developing rapidly- more and more hotels, restaurants < although decidedly not cheap>seem to be mushrooming here and there all the time. Ovearall Sidari can host as many as 17 000 tourists. The village is situated 45 km away from Kerkyra- the biggest city of Corfu. Changes Sidari experienced throughout last twenty years are simply stunning. It evolved from a tine fishing village no one bothered to pay attention to a prosperous modern and fashionable town that lures thousands of tourists into spending their holidays there.

Why then is Sidari so popular among those hordes of tourists? well, undoubtedly owing to its being stretched along innumerable small bays that are ringed with rocky beaches of unrivalled beauty of The Aegean Sea. The landscape there is a true feast for the eyes. what needs to be pinpointed is that Sidari is nothing of a peaceful oasis offering relieving silence and peace. Due to its advanced infrastructure it is extremely popular with tourists. Local people constantly invent different ways of attracting possible visitors. As a result magicians or mimes out is the streets are definately not a rarity. Holidays in Sidari mean constant pleasure in discovering newer and newer places of entertainment :)
